The Nutty Professor was a musical adaptation of the film about a scientist whose experiments create a larger-than-life alter ego. Although the project did not move forward, concept work was developed for potential album artwork.
Goal / Brief
I created album cover concepts that combined themes of science and transformation while maintaining the playful, comedic tone of the story. Many of the designs used butterfly imagery as a symbol of change.
Challenges
This was one of my first opportunities to develop original creative concepts for a theatrical project, which challenged me to think more conceptually and explore multiple visual directions.
