Messy White Gays is a comedy by Drew Droege that follows five white gay men brunching on the Upper East Side when a dead body is discovered in their apartment, turning an ordinary gathering into a chaotic mystery.
Goal / Brief
The key art and title treatment were already established by Dan Fazio. While working at The Pekoe Group, I was responsible for creating and maintaining campaign assets throughout the show's run. The direction was simple: make the work feel outrageous, chaotic, and fun.
Challenges
Partway through the announcement campaign, one of the cast members was replaced after the key art photoshoot had already taken place. I updated the campaign by removing the original actor and compositing the new cast member into the existing photography.
What I'm Proud Of
I'm especially proud of the photo retouching work and the editing of the raw files to look as vibrant as they do. The final images seamlessly incorporated the new cast member without requiring an additional photoshoot.
